Valley View ISD
Valley View Independent School District is a strong, vibrant school in North Central Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The District includes 89 square miles, which straddles Interstate 35 and includes the town of Valley View, population 875, in southern Cooke County. This ideal location provides residents with the joy of country living and easy access to major city benefits, such as healthcare, shopping, and recreational activities. Valley View has all the advantages of being a small community and is minutes from shopping in Gainesville and Denton.
At every level, students are successful in UIL academics, Co-curricular, and athletic competitions, as well as STAAR results. The district offers a small school environment where students and teachers participate in learning. With a pupil/teacher ratio of 15:1, students are given the individual attention needed to excel. Standards are high, and the school has a reputation for expecting much from students who expect much. Choosing the right community and school is one of the most important decisions you will make for your family. Valley View Independent School District encourages parents to consider the city of Valley View and the District when choosing a community and school.
